DERMA FACTORY Aquaporin Hydrating Cream is an oil-free gel cream formulated with 10% glyceryl glucoside. It helps activate aquaporin, the moisture channel in the skin quickly replenishes dry skin with moisture and soothes flaky skin texture.

Aquaporin is a compound word of 'Aqua, Pore, and Protein' and is a moisture channel that allows moisture to quickly enter the dermal layer through the epidermis. In 2003, scientist Peter Agre won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of aquaporins, sparking active research on them.

 In particular, Aquaporin has recently been in the spotlight as an effective ingredient that helps supply moisture to the skin, as it was revealed through a paper that the glyceryl glucoside component found in Rose of Jerico, which maintains moisture and vitality even in the desert, activates aquaporin.

This moisturizing cream with an oil-free formula instantly quenches the skin's thirst and delivers only comfortable moisture to the skin without worrying about pore clogging or tightness.

 Contains 74.9% birch sap from the Yeongcheon area of Gyeongbuk, which was selected as a pristine area in Korea, and delivers plenty of clean moisture to the skin. Birch sap contains a variety of nutrients, which help soothe damaged skin and provide an effect of increasing moisturizing power to the skin.

Contains 1,000ppm of 3,000Da ultra-low molecular hyaluronic acid to densely fill dry and rough skin with moisture.

Contains 1% vegetable squalane derived from olives to moisturize and soften the skin.

The oil-free formula with a slightly acidic pH similar to that of human skin helps build up the skin's own moisture retention ability.

How to use

After cleansing, toning and treatment products, at the stage for creams – dispense cream unto palm and apply gently over skin. If skin is particularly dry, apply a thicker layer for added moisture
